We have a lot of fun here in the newsroom, and we’re looking for new, fresh faces to join us in exploring interesting and entertaining stories here at Banner News on the Boone DMACC Campus.
We have endless opportunities that leave you with highly transferable skills. From sports broadcasting and podcasting to interviewing celebrities, we produce an array of media.
There are hundreds of topics and stories to be heard, and you would make a huge impact on your peers as well as the community. There are options such as a 3-credit class for up to four semesters. Another option is applying for work study and getting paid to do something you enjoy taking part in!
The networking opportunities you have the chance to experience may lead to huge career goals in the future. Some of the roles, among many, we would like to have join us would be anyone interested in social media, photography, and videography. We would love for anyone to reach out or stop by the Banner Newsroom in room 115. We are available to talk more, Monday through Thursday, from 1 pm to 3 pm.
