Ghost Opheim won the Banner News Valentine’s Day box with the closest guess of 142, with a grand total of 168 kisses.

Ghost has attended three semesters here at DMACC and is currently working on her last semester and is graduating this May with an interest in psychology. She is open to transferring later on down the road.

Upon completion of this semester she wishes to attain a job helping with victim advocacy. She wants to be able to give others a voice and the tools to use it.

Her favorite thing about campus?

“I think my favorite thing about DMACC’s Boone Campus is how much of a community it is,” she said. “I appreciate the way professors treat their students as knowledgeable people and help meet students where they are in their learning journey. I also love how all of the staff are conversational and very sweet to talk to and get to know, which makes DMACC a warm and welcoming place, especially to someone like me who is usually very shy and introverted.”

Ghost may be recognized walking the halls or sitting in the Courter Center in her iconic black boots with colorful laces, sporting some over-the-ear headphones and rocking a whimsical dress with a smile on her face. Feel free to send a friendly smile or wave her direction.
