National Crime Victims Rights is being celebrated this week at Boone DMACC with local ACCESS (Assault Care Center Extending Shelter & Support) group. This Friday there will be an opportunity to compete in online quizzes, listen to speakers, hear a story from a fellow student here at DMACC and eat pizza which will be provided.
ACCESS said that their goal is, “To address the roots and impact of domestic and sexual violence through services that enhance safety, empower survivors, and promote understanding and social justice within our community.”
