The DMACC Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams competed at the Trent Smith Invitational in Mason City on Oct. 9.
For the men’s team, Preston Rogers finished in 41st place running the 8K course in 31:46.50. Cameron Campbell had a time of 32:35.10 to finish 50th, and Cole Bennet took 54th with a time of 33:32.32.
To be qualified for the team scores, the men’s team would have needed two more runners to compete.
The women’s team, who was also competing with three runners, could not qualify for the team scores.
Wendy Liera finished in 11th place running the 5K course in 23:59.92. Cindy Liera had a time of 25:35.02 to finish 15th, and Karima Koko took 19th place with a time of 26:10.73.
Both teams will be concluding their fall season with the Region XI Championships in Fort Dodge on Nov. 1.
