he Iowa Community College Athletic Conference has named (DMACC) sophomore Beth Atwood the ICCAC Athlete of the Week for Division II women’s basketball for the week of January 15 to 21. This is the second Athlete of the week award for Atwood coming off her 19 point, 11 rebound, and 3 assists against the #15 ranked SCC Blackhawks. She shot an efficient 8-10 from the floor and went 2-2 from the free throw line.
Atwood is averaging almost 12 points and 8 rebounds a game in conference play for the Bears who sit at 3-0 in the ICCAC. DMACC girls will play in conference rival Southwestern Community College Wednesday January 24th in Creston looking for their 4th straight win.
