The Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) women’s basketball team played Little Priest Tribal on February 27th. DMACC won by 13 points with a 71-58 final score. The following day the women’s team played in Mason City against North Iowa Area Community College. The Bears fell, losing 88-78. Finally on March 2nd the women’s team played their last game of the regular season against Iowa Central Community College. The final score was a 79-69 loss for the bears. The women’s team finished the season with a 15-13 overall record. They earned the 3 seed in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Women’s Basketball Championship.
